Edit objects

Overview

The names of the objects, style, timing, transition effects, actions associated with objects, and position and size are some of the object properties you can edit.

Editing properties of interactive objects, such as, buttons and click boxes become important to define the actions that must be performed when users click these objects.

This tutorial explains how to get started with editing of objects.

Procedure

  1. Click the object you want to edit. The Property Inspector displays the current properties of the object.

  2. Modify the properties as required. For detailed information on the properties, see the following topics in Adobe Captivate online help:

Summary

Use the Property Inspector of the objects to edit the properties associated with them.

To quickly apply the properties of one object to other objects, use the Apply To All and Apply to All Objects With Same Style options in the accordions of the Property Inspector.
