Using 3D particle systems

With the 3D capabilities of Director 8.5 and some Lingo, you can create particle systems for effects such as fire, spraying water, smoke, and fog. A particle system is a 3D object type that defines a group of small objects, the particles, emanating from a source. The particles can be designed to look like water droplets, flames, or smoke particles. By carefully assigning attributes such as the number and size of the particles, as well as their shape, color, and movement, you can achieve a variety of effects.

To create particle systems in Lingo, you create the new particle system resource and model and then set the resource's properties.
