Macromedia Breeze 5.1 Service Pack 2 Release Notes

This document addresses issues that may not be discussed in the Macromedia Breeze documentation. This document may be updated as more information becomes available.

What's New - Breeze 5.1 Service Pack 2

Breeze 5.1 Service Pack 2 is primarily a bug-fix update to Breeze 5.1. It includes all supported languages: English, French, German, Japanese, and Korean. All fixes are for both Hosted and Enterprise unless otherwise noted.

Breeze Meeting SyncSWF SDK

The Breeze Meeting SyncSWF SDK enables users to bring custom Flash applications into Breeze meetings.  This release includes a plugin to the Flash Development tool to create these collaborative applications.  Learn more about the SyncSWF SDK.

Premiere telephony

  • The Dial Out dialog box now supports telephone numbers outside the US and Canada.
  • The Dial-in number display now supports multiple dial-in numbers.

Issues Addressed in this Release

Breeze 5.1 Service Pack 2 includes a number of fixes for issues in Breeze 5.1; key items are described below.

Breeze Manager

  • External users imported from LDAP now appear in the Manager Reports tab.

Breeze Meeting

  • Questions and answers linked to the Chat pod no longer lose text after the "<" symbol.
  • Full-screen state for screen sharing is recovered on reconnecting after losing connectivity.
  • Host cursor is no longer visible when Show Host Cursors option is set to Off and whiteboard overlay is in use.
  • Stampers over an image in the whiteboard pod now resize properly after hiding and showing the pod.

Breeze Training

  • The Open button for Courses should allow you to launch one instance of the course.
  • Curriculum reports now provide better support for items with multiple versions.
  • To improve stability, there is now a limit to the number of SCOs that can be moved at one time. For moving more than 200 SCOs, break up the task into smaller steps.

Breeze Events

  • Event information page now displays the date based on the chosen time zone for the event, not UTC.
