Macromedia Breeze 5.1 SP2 Security Updater Release Notes

This document addresses issues that are not discussed in the Macromedia Breeze 5.1 documentation. This document may be updated as more information becomes available.

About Breeze 5.1 SP2 Security Updater

This update provides a number of key bug fixes including a fix to address a security vulnerability. The security vulnerability affects all versions of Breeze 5.0 and 5.1; it does not affect Breeze 4.x, or any earlier versions of Breeze. This update can be applied to all supported languages.

Adobe recommends that you install this update if you are currently using a licensed deployment of Breeze 5.0, 5.1, 5.1 SP1 or 5.1 SP2.  You will need to update to 5.1 SP2 before applying the security update. Those few customers who have deployed separate Breeze Edge Servers should also be aware that there is an update for Edge Server. Only run edgesetup.exe if you have deployed separate Breeze Edge Servers and be sure to backup all your configuration files before beginning installation.

Issues resolved with the 5.1 SP2 Security Updater

The following bugs have been fixed in this release. The bug tracking number is included for items where applicable.

[149826]  Added support to the CSV bulk utility to be able to only add existing users to a specific group
[150264]  With multiple windows open, user could get incorrectly stuck in review mode
[157611]  Filter settings on downloadable Admin reports were not working
[158951]  Addition of curriculum items inside folders caused scores to be counted twice
[163037]  Meeting invitation to large group was not working
[171997]  Prevent launching of multiple course windows from the course info page
[173630]  One person in list of invitees was receiving all meeting invitations  
[173287]  Curriculum engine infinite loop no longer triggered when learner fails course in curriculum and passes the same course as a standalone course
[179078]  CSV import will continue to process valid data even if some rows are invalid
[177741]  Resolved “Page Cannot be Displayed” error in Event Customize Registration page when multiple choice question text exceeds 400 characters
[180759]  The course summary report did not include users created through an LDAP synch in the enrollee count
[184182]  Meetings were showing no content after customization
[167213]  When users have the same date_created for their course transcript, report were inaccurate
[145952]  improved training performance under heavy load

Update to Flash Media Server r207:
[169292]  Resolved remote edge core crash that was causing meeting clients to disconnect
[161613]  Resolved crash when meeting was recorded many times.
[173224]  Resolved crash during heavy screen sharing
[164623]  The layout bar was not displayed for meetings that were ended and started again by clicking the start button
