The Running Headers & Footers plug-in for Adobe PageMaker 6.5 for the Macintosh automatically generates headers and footers for pages in a publication. The Running Headers & Footers 2.5.1 update resolves a problem with the previous 2.0 version, in which PageMaker may freeze or unexpectedly quit when "Regular page..." is selected from the menus above the sample pages in the Running Headers & Footers dialog box. This only occurs on Power Macintosh computers running Apple System Software 7.6.x.

Adobe PageMaker 6.5 for Power Macintosh
1. Quit PageMaker.
2. Copy the Running Headers & Footers.add file into the Plugins folder in the RSRC folder in the Adobe PageMaker 6.5 folder, replacing the existing Running Headers & Footers.add file.
3. Restart PageMaker.
This update corrects only the problem listed above. If you experience other problems with the plug-in, please contact a PageMaker Technical Support Specialist. For Technical Support contact information, see the information included with PageMaker 6.5.
When used on 68K Macintosh computers, this plug-in behaves identically to the Running Headers & Footers 2.0 plug-in included with Adobe PageMaker 6.5.
This plug-in was tested with and is supported by U.S. English, French, and German versions of PageMaker. However, the dialog box interface contains English text only.
For information on using the Running Headers & Footers plug-in, see the Adobe PageMaker 6.5 User Guide, pp. 96-101.
