PageMaker 7.0 ColorSync Component Update (August 2001) -- English

This archive contains an updated version of the csyncmsg.swb file that originally shipped with Adobe PageMaker 7.0, English only. Adobe recommends that you download and install this updated version, which resolves problems as described below.

The following problems have been resolved with the updated csyncmsg.swb file:
-- Enables you to start Adobe PageMaker 7.0 without receiving the error "The application Adobe PageMaker 7.0 has unexpectedly quit, because an error of type 1,010 occurred. You should save your work in other open applications and restart the computer."

System requirements

Installation Instructions

To install the unstuffed file, csyncmsg.sit.hqx:

1. Exit PageMaker.
2. Download and decompress the csyncmsg.sit.hqx archive.
3. Move the older csyncmsg.swb file from the Adobe PageMaker 7.0:RSRC:SwitchB:csyncmsg folder to a backup location.
Note: This precautionary step is recommended in case you need to restore the previous file.
4. Move the updated csyncmsg.swb file into the PageMaker 7.0:RSRC:SwitchB:csyncmsg folder.
5. Restart PageMaker.
