Compatibility Test for .bin Files

When downloading a file from the Internet, you may be given a choice between two different file formats. One file may end in ".bin," and the other file may end in ".hqx."

The .bin file will download faster but is less compatible with older systems. While .hqx files take longer to download, this format is more compatible with older systems.

Download the Compatibility Test for .bin Files (bintest.bin) to determine whether you can successfully download .bin files.
