This April 2005 update for Adobeﾮ InCopyﾮ CS 3.0.1 software provides key fixes in the following areas: Document View, Text & Fonts, Styles, Bridge Workflow, and Notes. For more information, refer to the Adobe InCopy CS 3.0.1 ReadMe file. To determine whether you have already installed this update, review this technical document.
Note: This April 2005 update includes fixes from the original InCopy CS 3.0.1 updates (posted in March 2004 and August 2004), as well as new fixes. Users who installed the original update will need to install the April 2005 version to receive the new fixes. The original updates are no longer available separately.

After downloading a ".exe" file in Windows, double-click on the ".exe" file to access the file's contents.

Adobe InCopy CS includes a feature called Adobe Update Manager (AUM) that notifies you of updates as they become available. This feature also helps facilitate the download and installation of update files.
To access the Adobe InCopy CS 3.0.1 April 2005 update through AUM, follow these steps:
1. Launch InCopy CS.
2. In the application window, choose Help > Updates.
3. In the Updates dialog box, select Adobe InCopy CS 3.0.1 April 2005 update.
4. Click Continue. The update installer file will download to your local machine.
5. Choose Install Now and then follow the instructions to install the update.
Note: The update will instruct you to close all CS applications before installing. If you do not follow this instruction, you will need to restart InCopy before the update will take effect.
If you experience problems accessing the InCopy CS 3.0.1 April 2005 update via AUM, you can manually download and install the update:
1. Click the Download button on this page.
2. In the File Download window, click Save and then specify a location on your hard drive (for example, the desktop) to save the file.
3. Double-click the file on your hard drive to access the file's contents and run the installer.
AUM Install Later option: There is also an option to Install Later at step 5 of this process. Choosing this option will download the update installer icon to your local computer so that it can be run at a later time. You can also invoke the installer by choosing Help > Updates from within InCopy CS and then clicking Update Now.
Note: If you require access to the update installer file for archival or internal distribution purposes, follow the download path displayed in the Location field of the AUM download status dialog box during the download process. You may copy and paste the path name from the Location field for your reference.
Checking for updates automatically: InCopy CS can check for updates automatically if you choose Edit > Preferences > Updates, and then choose how long InCopy CS should wait before checking for updates.
