The AVI Import Plug-in Update resolves a problem when using 29.97 fps video in Adobe Premiere LE. The AVI import plug-in, included in Premiere LE 4.2, causes the last frame of a clip to duplicate once per 1000 frames contained in the source file. If the untrimmed clip is placed in the Construction Window, the duplicated frames appear in the video track and are compiled into output movies. Installing the update prevents the duplicated frames from occurring.
