Editing Macromedia Fireworks MX images in Macromedia Dreamweaver MX

This tutorial teaches you how to edit Macromedia Fireworks MX images in the Macromedia Dreamweaver MX workspace. Dreamweaver enables you to set Fireworks as your external image editor, then edit selected source files in Fireworks. When you save your changes, Fireworks automatically re-exports the altered file to Dreamweaver. You can then view the updated image in the Dreamweaver document window.

Download the Windows source files (224K)
Download the Macintosh source files (220K)

When the file decompresses, a folder named editing_images is created on your system.

If you have trouble downloading or decompressing the files, see TechNote 13686.
