Working with Macromedia Fireworks MX images in Macromedia Dreamweaver MX

This tutorial demonstrates how you can use different features in Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and make them work with your Macromedia Fireworks MX images. Standard Dreamweaver file menu options as well as new tool bars make it easy for you to insert Fireworks images into your Dreamweaver documents. You can also create an image placeholder in your Dreamweaver document, launch Fireworks without leaving Dreamweaver, and create an image. When you finish, Dreamweaver replaces the image placeholder with the new Fireworks image that you created.

Download the Windows source files (584K)
Download the Macintosh source files (588K)

When the file decompresses, a folder named fw_dw_images is created on your system.

If you have trouble downloading or decompressing the files, see TechNote 13686.
