Wildlife Project 12: Using Fireworks MX and Flash MX to create animation
This tutorial shows you how to add animation to your website with Macromedia Fireworks MX and Macromedia Flash MX. Though this tutorial is designed for beginners, it will be easier for you to complete if you first familiarize yourself with the Macromedia Flash MX Stage, Timeline, and Tools. If you haven't already done so, complete the lessons that come with Macromedia Flash before proceeding. You can find and complete the lessons by selecting Help > Lessons.
This tutorial is the twelfth in a series of Macromedia Studio MX tutorials that teach you how to plan, design, create, and deploy a fully-functional website. To see all of the tutorials in the series, visit the Macromedia Studio MX page on the Macromedia Dreamweaver Support Center. A complete list of tutorials is also available at the Macromedia Designer and Developer Center.
This tutorial series uses a fictional organization, The Wildlife Project, to demonstrate website asset development. If you haven't already done so, be sure to read the Project overview section in the first tutorial, Planning your Macromedia Studio MX website, and view the completed sample site.
