Wildlife Project 7: Connecting to a database
This tutorial describes how to connect to a database when developing Macromedia ColdFusion applications with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. This tutorial is the seventh in a series of Macromedia Studio MX tutorials that teach you how to plan, design, create, and deploy a fully-functional website. To see all of the tutorials in the series, visit the Macromedia Studio MX page on the Macromedia Dreamweaver Support Center. A complete list of tutorials is also available at the Macromedia Designer and Developer Center.
This tutorial series uses a fictional organization, The Wildlife Project, to demonstrate website asset development. If you haven't already done so, be sure to read the Project overview section in the first tutorial, Planning your Macromedia Studio MX website, and view the completed sample site.
