Building Dynamic Pages: Restricting Site Access

This topic page is useful for customers using Dreamweaver to build a web application that will restrict access to certain pages to certain visitors. Only developers creating pages using a scripting language will benefit.

Why would you restrict access?

A typical example is an admin page that allows qualified users to modify content in the database, or a subsection of the website that should be available only to customers who pay for content.
