Fireworks for Photoshop Users

Because Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop both share a similar goal—the creation and modification of bitmap graphics—some features of the two programs are similar. However, unlike Photoshop, Fireworks was designed from the ground up for creating, modifying, and optimizing Web graphics. As a result, there are several features in Fireworks that behave very differently from those in Photoshop.
