Creating custom strokes

In Fireworks, much of the drawing you do is based on paths. A path is a line with certain stroke characteristics. While Fireworks comes with a variety of preset strokes, you can also edit these preset strokes to create your own strokes. By customizing stroke characteristics, you can change the appearance of a path to create a variety of effects from a soft-edged airbrush look to a splattered paint effect.
