Setting preferences

FreeHand preferences allow you to customize your work environment.

To set FreeHand preferences:

1 Choose Edit > Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.
2 Set preferences as needed. The following are some of the preferences available:
General preferences include settings for the number of undo's supported and for snap distance.
Color preferences include settings for grid and guide colors.
Export preferences include settings for controlling the attributes of exported files.

Before copying and pasting from FreeHand to Flash, you must set the FreeHand Export preferences to support Adobe Illustrator EPS and convert colors to CMYK and RGB, as shown in the following illustration.
