The Macromedia FreeHand Pen tool defines a path by placing points. A path looks like a series of curves and straight lines, so it can be easy to forget that a path is actually a series of two or more connected points. This article describes how to use the Pen tool to draw complex paths.
For more information about the Pen tool, see the corresponding section in FreeHand Help or the Using FreeHand manual.
