| If the Network
License Detection dialog box appears when you attempt to open
a Macromedia application, you may have exceeded the number
of licensed copies permitted for that serial number. This
dialog box appears when Macromedia applications detect another
user on a company network using the same serial number as
the licensee. You must have a software license (with a unique
serial number) for each copy of Macromedia software installed
on every computer.
NOTE: This message may appear if you attempt to install
a copy of a Macromedia Studio bundle on multiple computers.
Macromedia Studio bundles are considered a single product
and are licensed for installation on one computer.
To prevent license infringement:
|
|
Purchase a licensed copy of Macromedia
software for each computer. For more information, visit
an authorized Macromedia reseller or visit our online
store. |
|
|
Work with your IT department to locate
the individuals who are using the same serial number
on your network. Provide the user name and IP address
that appears in the Network License Detection dialog
box. |
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you
believe you received this dialog box in error, use the Support
Center menu on the Support page
to locate your product, then search for articles related
to Network License Detection. Support Centers provides the
latest information about our software. If you need to contact
Macromedia Customer
Service, have a copy of your product invoice or receipt
ready. For more information on licensing, refer to the End
User License Agreement. Locate it under the filename "License.htm,"
in the directory included in your Macromedia software.
