HTML Filter 2.0 for Microsoft Office 2000

This tool will remove Office-specific markup tags embedded in Office 2000 documents saved as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). When you create an HTML document in Office 2000, Office-specific markup tags are embedded in it. These tags help "round-trip" the document for editing purposes. For example, if you create the document in Word 2000 and save it as HTML, the code embedded in the document allows you to re-open the document in Word 2000 and use the same features you originally used to create the page.

DownloadWebHelp HTML Patch (EXE, 240K)

Fix problems when a version 7 WebHelp project that includes sub-folders is viewed from a web server using Netscape Navigator. From a web server Netscape requires that all slashes be forward slashes. Additionally, it does not support comments in JavaScript. Comments in JavaScript will cause Netscape to hang (both of which work fine when the files are viewed in Netscape locally). The HTMLPATCH.exe converts all backslashes to forward slashes and removes the comments from the JavaScript in the WebHelp files automatically. Be sure to run this file on your WebHelp directory only, not your source directory.
