I am a research scientist at Adobe Research. My primary research interests are in the areas of information visualization, visual analytics, and cognitive science. I build interactive systems to support data analysis and use empirical methods to understand the nature and processes of visual analysis.
I completed my Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing at Georgia Tech in 2012, advised by John Stasko. My thesis work investigates the problem of modeling and visualizing multi-dimensional data as networks. I then worked as a postdoc with Jeff Heer at Stanford University on imMens, a system that enables real-time visual querying of billion+ element databases.
