Eunyee Koh
Research Scientist
I am a researcher in the Advanced Technology Labs at Adobe. I finished my PhD at the Computer Science department of Texas A&M University. My advisor is Prof. Andruid Kerne.
I graduated in 2002 from the Seoul National University with a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering degrees, and worked for Motorola and Accenture during 2002-2003.
I have been a member of Adobe’s ATL since 2007. My current research interests include semantic analysis and metadata extraction from media, and how to visualize those extracted metadata interactively for people.

LiveCycle PDF Text Extraction - a technology for extracting reading-order text from PDF documents by analyzing the layout with vertical and horizontal projections.
Multimedia Content Intelligence - a technology platform for automatic content metadata extraction and analysis, categorization, summarization, and text mining for unstructured and semi-structured documents.
Predictive Analytics - model customers' intention via page visit sequences to dynamically generate personalized marketing messages.
Conference Experience - extend Adobe Connect such that it can utilize hardware in conferencing rooms adaptively, and support easy-to-use whiteboard collaboration by adding new interactive devices and multi-touch drawing functionalities.
