Putting together a picture package (Mac only)

Using Picture Package, you can place multiple copies of one or more photos on a single page, much as traditional portrait studios do. Now, with Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 3.0, you can choose from a variety of size and placement options to customize your package layout. Picture packages save you time, paper, and ink when you print the page.

Start a picture package.

Open the photos you’d like to add to a picture package layout. Then, choose File > Picture Package. If you have multiple documents open, Picture Package uses the frontmost document.

Tip: You can also start a picture package from the File Browser. With the File Browser open, choose Automate > Picture Package. The Picture Package command uses the first photo listed in the File Browser unless you select a photo before choosing the Picture Package command.

Add a few photos to the package.

You can easily add one or more photos to the layout. In the Picture Package dialog box, click a placeholder in the preview layout and browse to select a photo. Alternatively, you can drag a photo from the desktop or a folder into a placeholder.

Choose a layout.

The Layout menu gives you lots of options. Depending on the layout you choose, the photos are oriented to cover the entire printable area. You won’t be able to rotate the photos placed in the layout.
