These four station idents were created to promote Saturday night programming on Sky One with an action adventure theme. As these were more live action-based, the use of After Effects was more subtle: when the weather was gloomy and overcast on the day of shooting the live action at an aircraft museum, the software came to the rescue.
"The footage was very disappointing," says Yeo, "but After Effects can pull information out of the image that you wouldn't believe was there, making it look vibrant and dynamic." After Effects was also used to add some creative lens flares which add emphasis to the channel logo.
