One of the nightly themes for Sky's .tv 'the technology channel', planet.tv has an informative slant and features programming from all over the world. This sequence by Sten Sheppard combines live action with 3D modelling and animation. After Effects was used for backgrounds, some of the particle work, light rays, glows and type reveals at the end. Final comping and embellishments were also completed in After Effects.
