David Maisel promotion
Freelance photographer David Maisel came to Sterling Design hoping for a promotional piece that would make the phone ring more often around his office. His portfolio spanned three areas: landscapes, the human form, and shots of his daughter. To help him promote it, Sterling designed a series of 46 postcards, each of which featured a photograph on one side and his contact information in a unique design on the other. Sterling created the postcards in such a way that they gave Maisel three options for showing his work. They can be sent individually or bundled with a rubber band (each card has die-cut notches for this purpose). Or the entire series can be shipped in a heavy cardboard slipcover.
Maisel reports that he's been getting a lot of calls lately.
