Chris Brown, publisher and creative director for Refueled Magazine, collaborates with his friends, tapping into the creativity of those who surround him to fuel the shared aesthetic of the magazine. With Adobe® Muse™ software, he can focus on the soul of the content. See the website ›

The site for Refueled Magazine shows a minimalist take on the grunge look. The lovely contrast between the touches of "scuffed" texture and the careful use of abundant whitespace and clean typography integrates the magazine's unique aesthetic into the site design.
Because Adobe Muse makes it painless to add, remove, and edit objects on the fly, there's no need to skimp on the details. Dive in and make the site you've always dreamed of, in less time than you'd imagine.

The Current Issue section of Refueled houses its main content in a large interactive SWF file; up top, a table of contents list continues the same layering motif as the magazine. Details like the repeated use of slashes as dividers and overlapping text make a huge impact on the site's aesthetic impact.
Never feel boxed in with the freeform design approach in Adobe Muse. An object's size, location, layer order, background, stroke, and more are all customizable from within Adobe Muse so you can play with a variety of ideas without wasting time.

Want to deliver a complex interactive experience? Your Adobe Muse site can feature nearly any type of Adobe Flash® Player compatible content you can think of, including animated embedded booklets like the ones seen throughout Refueled's site.
You can place SWF files using the File > Place command. For more complex endeavors, the Object > Insert HTML feature allows you to use SWF content mixed with ActionScript® or HTML code.

The Authentic Series section of Refueled uses several Vimeo videos to tell the stories of the dedicated craftspeople behind jeans brand Imogene + Willie and Portland's Spring Break Snowboards.
Adding videos like these to your Adobe Muse pages is simple: Just grab the embed code provided by Vimeo or YouTube and select Object > Insert HTML in Adobe Muse. Once you've pasted in the embed code, you can move the video around wherever you like.
Never worry about anything falling out of place with Adobe Muse's Transform panel and convenient layering options in the Object menu. Use the Transform panel to control pixel-by-pixel coordinates of any object, and flexibly bring objects forward or backward using the Objects menu.
The seamlessly integrated design of Refueled's About/Contact page is accomplished by strategically layering text and images atop a smartly designed background image. With the level of control in Adobe Muse, you're free to layer as much as you'd like without worrying about anything getting cut off or nudged askew.
