Adobe Illustrator 10 Prize Draw OFFICIAL RULES Participation in the Adobe Illustrator 10 free prize draw ("Draw") constitutes Contestant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Promoter: Adobe Systems Europe Limited, Waterview House, 1 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AY.

(1) No purchase necessary.

(2) Timing: Offer begins on 12 November 2001, and ends on 31 December 2001. All entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. GMT, 31 December 2001.

(3) Eligibility: Competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom and Eire. Employees, independent contractors, officers and directors of Adobe, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfilment agencies and legal advisors, the judging panel, and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Void where prohibited.

(4) How To Enter: Answer the Adobe Illustrator 10 competition question by visiting www.Adobe.co.uk/illustrator. Complete the mandatory portion of the entry form on this site in its entirety and submit the form online. Details required are Name, address, email address, day time contact number. Any entry not complying with the above entry requirements will not be eligible for any prize. You may submit one (1) entry per e-mail address. Entries become the exclusive property of Adobe and will not be acknowledged or returned. Adobe accepts no responsibility for entries that are illegible or lost in transit, have faulty URLs, links or cannot be accessed. Adobe shall use reasonable care to prevent any to entries received by Adobe; however, Adobe shall not be liable for direct, indirect or consequential losses which result from the loss to any entry.

(5) The prizes consist of:3 First Prize Winners: Choice of one of the Adobe collections, Design collection,Web Collection, Publishing Collection, Digital Video Collection, Streaming Media Collection (There are 3 winners up for 1st prize)

3 Second Prize Winners: One of three (3) of Adobe Illustrator 10 software (There are 3 winners up for the 2nd prize.) All prizes will be awarded unless there are fewer eligible entries for a Category than prizes for that Category. No alternative prize, cash, or other substitution is allowed except by Adobe in the event of prize unavailability. Prizes are non-assignable/non-transferable.

(6) Winner Notification: Winners will be chosen at random by a panel of Adobe judges on 18 January 2002 and notified by e-mail on or about 23rd January 2002. Winners will have 15 days from notification to accept the prize by e-mail. Adobe is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim prize, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim a prize, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

(7) General Terms and Conditions: Adobe is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) lost, late, delayed, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or misdirected entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, partial, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Adobe that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted. Adobe reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or modify the Contest if fraud or technical failure corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Contest, as determined by Adobe in its sole discretion. Each Contestant agrees that Adobe's only obligation is to submit entries from eligible Contestants to the judges according to the procedures and criteria set forth in these Official Rules, and award the prizes set forth herein to winners, subject to the terms and conditions herein. Contestant agrees that Adobe's obligation is fair and adequate consideration for any entry submitted, and that Contestant is not entitled to and shall not seek any further compensation. Each Contestant agrees that by submitting an entry, he or she allows the use of his or her name, likeness and/or voice in publicity or advertising relating to the Contest without compensation. Each Contestant agrees that by submitting an entry, Adobe may process your personal information and transfer it to countries outside of the European Union, including the United States, where it will be stored and accessed for registration purposes.

(8) Winners List: The winners’ list will be located at http://www.adobe.com/contests/illustratorcomp/winners.html. Winners will be posted 28 January 2002

(9) This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales, excluding their conflict of law rules.
