To create our smoke-infused cover, Plazm found inspiration from the technique described by Clear’s Emin Kadi in this issue’s cover story, When Turning Pages Becomes a Trip. “We used the technique as a starting point for our design,” says Art Director Joshua Berger. “And then we took it to a new place.” Learn how to do it.
