| View the Flash movie | Created for the Remedi Project (U.S), this short textual piece appealed to Chen because of its experimentation and limitless file size. He started with a photograph that was stretched "really long" using Adobe Photoshop® software. He saved it out at 256 colours to get its deliberately pixellated look, something Chen notes he now does using the "Add Noise" filter. | "I liked the texture," says Chen, "I basically look for textures in graphics, as well as depth." Mostly Chen considers the piece a motion exploration, a story told with a lot of transitions and type. |
