Add a type layer to your image.
Use the type tool to create a new type layer in ImageReady. If desired, add one or more layer effects to the type layer.
|
We used the knockout option to "punch through" the solid red layer below the lettering and reveal the fruit image on the background layer. To create a knockout in ImageReady, select the layer in the Layers palette, and choose Window > Layer Options/Styles. In the Knockout pop-up menu choose Deep (to punch through to the background layer) or Shallow (for a knockout that stops at the bottom of the layer set or clipping group).

Reverse the warp effect in frame 3.
Create a new frame, select the type layer, and choose Layer > Type > Warp Text. In the Warp Text dialog box, reverse the warp settings you set in step 2. (We changed Bend from 90% to -90%.)
