Effective May 2012. We have simplified our Adobe Volume Licensing programs to improve the ordering and management experience for our valued volume licensing customers. Here are the changes that will take place in May:
The Transactional Licensing Program (TLP) will be streamlined from two tiers to one for commercial and education customers. The TLP program for government customers will continue to have one level. TLP will continue to have no minimum entry requirement, no required contract, and provide volume licensing management through the Adobe Licensing WebSite (LWS).
In addition, Upgrade Plan under TLP is being phased out for commercial customers, and will no longer be available after May 2012. Commercial customers may continue to purchase software upgrades through TLP or Upgrade Plan through CLP membership.
For commercial and government customers wishing to secure a volume licensing discount over retail, the Cumulative Licensing Program (CLP) will be made more accessible through a lower minimum entry point requirement. Today’s 25,000 point minimum entry requirement will be lowered to 10,000 points, allowing more customers to qualify for this two-year membership program. CLP offers significant discounts on every order, the chance to increase discount levels with purchases made during the membership term, and — as with TLP—access to LWS tools to help track and manage licenses easily in one central place.
