Gever Tulley |
Gever Tulley brings over 25 years of technical architecture, software engineering, and engineering management experience to Adobe. Before founding XT, the Experience Technologies group at Adobe, he most recently served as Chief Technology Officer of Nimblefish, where he architected the automated relevant marketing engine technology that became the foundation of their business. Prior to joining Nimblefish, Gever was a co-founder and partner in Helium, a technology consulting and services firm working with such diverse clients as the San Francisco 49ers, the International Olympic Committee and AXA/Rosenberg. At Helium, Gever oversaw the architecture and implementation of dozens of technical projects. As Chief Technology Architect at Quokka Sports, Gever co-authored patents for interactive television and content management technologies. In 1989 he co-founded Crucible, where he was a pioneer in image processing techniques that revolutionized television and film making in the 1990s. While further developing these techniques at Xaos Tools, as Director of Engineering, he developed Threads - a platform for interactive television development considered by many to be a pre-cursor to Java. In various other architectural and management roles Gever designed and developed key technologies for Sony Entertainment, Silicon Graphics, Sun Microsystems, and others. |
