Chapter 3: Functional Performance Criteria (FPC)
Notes:
Criteria |
Conformance Level |
Remarks and Explanations |
---|---|---|
302.1 Without Vision |
Web: Does Not Support |
Web: Most functions of the product are not functional for users without vision. This is primarily due to insufficient element roles, such as sorting and filtering controls found while browsing for fonts, insufficient text alternatives, such as those previously stated in 1.3.1 Info and Relationships, and keyboard behaviors, as previously stated in 2.1.1 Keyboard. |
302.2 With Limited Vision |
Web: Does Not Support |
Web: For users with limited vision who rely on platform accessibility features, most core features of the product are not functional. Text colors and background colors throughout the site do not provide sufficient color contrast for low vision users. CSS background images are used to render non-decorative images and interactive controls, as previously stated in 1.1.1 Non-text Content. Color alone is being used to distinguish links from surrounding paragraph text and provide a visible indication of focus on some controls, as previously stated in 1.4.1 Use of Color. |
302.3 Without Perception of Color |
Web: Supports with Exceptions |
Web: Most functions of the product are functional without perception of color. As previously stated in 1.4.1 Use of Color, color alone is used to indicate selection, distinguish inline links from paragraph text, and provide visible indication of focus on some controls. |
302.4 Without Hearing |
Web: Supports with Exceptions |
Web: The product is largely functional without hearing. Prerecorded or live audio-only content is not provided by the product. Promotional and prerecorded videos provide automated closed captions containing minor discrepancies. |
302.5 With Limited Hearing |
Web: Supports with Exceptions |
Web: The product is largely functional with limited hearing. Prerecorded or live audio-only content is not provided by the product, and the video player’s promotional videos provide independent volume controls. Automated captions contain minor discrepancies. |
302.6 Without Speech |
Web: Supports |
Web: The product does not require speech input. |
302.7 With Limited Manipulation |
Web: Does Not Support |
Web: Most functions of the product are not functional for users with limited manipulation who rely on keyboard access, as previously stated in 2.1.1 Keyboard. Some elements do not provide any visible indication of keyboard focus as previously stated in 2.4.7 Focus Visible. |
302.8 With Limited Reach and Strength |
Web: Supports |
Web: The product is functional with limited reach and strength. |
302.9 With Limited Language, Cognitive, and Learning Abilities |
Web: Supports with Exceptions |
Web: The product provides some features for simpler, easier use by individuals with limited cognitive, language, and learning abilities. Simplified views or layouts are not provided, though users may choose between grid views or list views when browsing fonts. Mobile responsive layouts may be triggered when adjusting the browser’s zoom setting or resizing the browser window. Consistent language is used throughout the site. “Learn & Support” pages are provided on the site navigation bar containing topics for Getting Started, Practice, Help Topics, Troubleshooting, and Contact Information. Page titles are not always unique, and clear headings describing the main function of the page are not always provided. Visible labels for form controls are not always provided, including the sorting and filtering controls while browsing for fonts. |
