Adobe® Acrobat® DC software includes new accessibility features that improve the performance of Acrobat when it interacts with assistive technologies such as screen readers. New accessiblity features available in Acrobat DC include:
New support for the VoiceOver screen reader on Mac OS X. Now Mac users can interact with tagged PDF documents as well as the Acrobat user interface.
Acrobat DC has introduced major enhancements to its user interface. Accessibility features are now consolidated in the Tools menu, and can be added to a panel for easy access. Items within the panel can also be reordered, and new Actions (including the Make Accessible Action) can be added as well.
Acrobat DC supports operating system-level high contrast modes, and features icons that adapt to light-on-dark modes.
