Cloud Manager for Experience Manager


New self-service interface for IT to truly take advantage of Adobe Experience Manager in the cloud.
With the latest release comes Cloud Manager for Experience Manager, an interface for IT that speeds up and reduces risks of go-lives and updates by using a state-of-the-art continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. It accelerates capability customisation to Experience Manager websites, such as altering navigation or adding a new functionality to a page. As a result, customisations are deployed more frequently and faster in a matter of hours and days, versus weeks or months. 

Cloud Manager, in addition to the upgrade support of Experience Manager Managed Services, accelerates an organisation’s ability to use the latest innovations in Experience Manager and extend them in ways that moves one ahead of the competition.

Adobe Experience Manager Assets is an intelligent digital asset management solution for marketers and IT to organise, adapt and distribute rich media and experiences across the customer journey.
Access digital assets from AEM natively from within Adobe Creative Cloud
Use single sign-on with your Creative Cloud for enterprise account credentials to access DAM and creative assets from directly in Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC and Adobe InDesign CC. Easily use the panel to check out files and prevent duplicate work, automatically update assets and have changes flow back into the DAM — all without breaking your Creative Cloud workflow. Creatives no longer need to leave these apps to take advantage of the full value of Creative Cloud in Adobe Experience Manager, like cloud-based collaboration and the ability to separately store updates for work in progress. The workspace makes it easier than ever to create impactful digital experiences.
Smart Tags — enhanced for business-specific auto-tagging
Powered by Adobe Sensei, the next generation of Smart Tags uses a self-learning algorithm to recognise images and populate tags based on your unique business taxonomy. Unlike generic auto-tagging that only uses basic keywords, enhanced Smart Tags goes a step further, using your customised taxonomy to suggest and identify unique tags. As your library and taxonomy expand, Adobe Sensei becomes more intelligent, recognising business-specific image features more quickly and automatically tagging new assets as they are introduced to the DAM.
Search — intelligent multilingual search
Experience Manager Assets uses Adobe Sensei to translate search terms in real time. Users can enter a keyword in one language and the Sensei algorithm will translate that keyword instantaneously, searching and delivering matching assets across defined language libraries. Reducing reliance on metadata translation services, the intelligence search services makes your content more findable, in most any language.
Metadata management — more robust metadata ingestion, rules, entry and governance
Experience Manager Assets now has even more robust metadata support. DAM admins can define cascading metadata fields, which only appear when their dependant parent fields are populated, for faster and more accurate cataloguing. In addition, users can quickly ingest metadata from any third-party system or file or export completed metadata for use in other applications. Users benefit from improved governance, with an easier way to map complex metadata values and set required fields.
Enhanced user experience — refined user interface for improved productivity
Experience Manager Assets makes it easier to search, browse, preview and work with a wide variety of file types with fewer clicks. Users can optimise their browsing experience by quickly switching between new views, like tree, card or column, ensuring they find the right view for the right task. With more powerful search abilities, including enhanced operators and granular filters, it's easier than ever to find the needle in the haystack.
Brand Portal — more features to easily search, find and share approved assets
Extended and distributed teams can now access a refreshed user interface and key new features to more easily search, find and share approved assets. Brand Portal administrators have more configuration possibilities, with improved branding options to optimise appearance, robust governance to efficiently manage users and extensive metadata controls to maximise findability. Admins can gain deeper insights into how they’re using and distributing assets with comprehensive, exportable usage reports.
Smart Crop & Imaging — automated image crop and processing
The dynamic media capabilities within Experience Manager Assets are now smarter, powered by Sensei, empowering marketers to automate tasks with artificial intelligence in bulk and bring experiences to market more quickly than ever. 
Smart imaging automatically detects the available bandwidth and device type to dramatically minimise image file size by up to 70% upon delivery, with no loss in visual fidelity, ensuring smooth, quick-loading experiences that drive conversion. 
Smart Crop helps compress workflows and eliminates hours of tedious work by automatically detecting and cropping the focal point in any image, capturing the intended point of interest, regardless of screen size. Included with Smart Crop is the ability to automatically locate and generate high-quality colour swatches from product imagery.
Experience Fragments and Hotspots — easy channel-optimised interactivity
We’ve added Dynamic Media support to supercharge Experience Fragments, giving users the ability to assemble and re-use interactive content and video for many channels.  
With AEM 6.4, users can compose Experience Fragments with Dynamic Media to instantly reassemble fragments upon delivery into layouts that fit any targeted screen size. This additional capability empowers marketers to add more interactive or engaging experiences like clickable hotspots, videos or product information pop-ups. 
Emerging media — 3D, VR, panoramic media management and viewers
Users can now find, manage and smoothly deliver cutting-edge, next-generation experiences by using 3D assets with panoramic and VR viewers. Dramatically simplify workflows and increase velocity by replacing costly photography with photorealistic 3D assets, giving you the flexibility to re-purpose any asset, from any angle, in any light and in any setting. 

Use Adobe Dimensions CC to create high-quality 3D assets that flow seamlessly into the DAM, providing tools to manage and deliver customisable interactions across channels. Allow customers to digitally tour scenes, properties, landscapes or locations and delight visitors with immersive, engaging VR experiences, via device-optimised, out-of-the-box viewers.

Multi-channel Interactive Communications
You can generate both print and web communications from a single authoring interface. After you design communications with an intuitive, business-friendly drag-and-drop document editor, Interactive Communications will be responsive to any screen size or device type. Whether communicating via web, print or PDF, you can also use Interactive Communications to produce archival documents and ensure compliance. 
Prefill Interactive Communications from business applications
Interactive Communications prefill can integrate with a digital form or document with disparate data sources using a Form Data Model. You can use this tool to prefill data elements and produce communications suitable for both print and web. In both the document fragment editor and the document template editor, you can use elements directly from the Form Data Model, allowing you to re-use personalised and relevant communications. Out-of-the-box integrations to business applications such as Microsoft Dynamics, RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), REST & SOAP services and OData make data integrations faster and more convenient.
Workflow modernisation and mobile worker support
Streamlined deployment for Experience Manager Forms App lets workers capture data off-line in the field, with forms that submit directly to backend systems.
Lazy loading fragments
Lazy loading fragments are now fully supported and can be used with repeatable panels to minimise response and load time for long and complex adaptive forms. Fragments can be configured to only load when the user requires them and are unloaded when users navigate to other sections of a form. The Experience Manager Forms app now also supports lazy loading adaptive forms, which is particularly important when Internet connections are slow or weak.
Single-hop upgrade from LiveCycle to Experience Manager Forms 6.4
Current customers can upgrade one time straight from LiveCycle ES4 directly to Experience Manager Forms 6.4. This reduces the time it takes to get onto the Experience Manager platform to utilise experience-focused capabilities like basic analytics, experience targeting, a modernised Touch UI, adaptive forms and interactive communications provided by Adobe Experience Manager that did not exist in LiveCycle.

Integration with Experience Manager Assets
Livefyre integrates with Experience Manager Assets, enabling easy searches for the best social content on the web, directly within the Assets interface. Now, you can store both user-generated content and brand-created content in a single place. Livefyre’s rights request workflow is built into Assets, making it easy to get explicit rights and removing the legal worries of working with UGC. 
Integrate UGC into more channels with Experience Fragments
