With Acrobat Pro, users can also create and send documents for electronic signature, track the status of signature requests, and manage signed documents in a centralized location.

If you are launching Acrobat desktop software for the first time, You need to be connected to the internet to do this. After that, you can work offline. However, if you purchased a subscription, you will be asked to log in periodically to verify your credentials. An online connection is also required to request e-signatures and share PDFs.
