Pattern Brush

Brush up on inspiration! Create a customised pattern brush for a unique design, every time.

  1. Choose image
    Select the image or graphic you would like to use as a pattern. (Hint: Solid black & white shapes work best.)

  2. Create new layer
    With the image selected, click the New Adjustment Layer icon and choose Solid Color. Make sure you choose black.

  3. Define it
    Go to the Edit menu and select Define Brush from Selection.

  4. Name it
    Give your new pattern brush a name.

  5. Adjust it
    Select the Brush Tool in the toolbar to adjust the color, size, and spacing of your new pattern brush.
