Signature synchronization

An all-new signature sync feature streamlines your signing workflows by making your preferred signature appearance available in all Adobe applications. Once your signature appearance is stored in the cloud, you can use it on the desktop, the web, and all mobile apps, including Acrobat Reader, Fill & Sign, and e-Sign Manager. File location remembered across sessions

To help you quickly and easily find the files you need, Acrobat Reader remembers your last file location. For example, if you were last opening files from the cloud, the product opens to Document Cloud. If you were last using the files under Recent, the product opens to your recent files list.

Dropbox integration

Adobe has partnered with Dropbox to bring you a seamless experience where document workflows can span both products. Go to My Documents, open the Location Chooser, and tap Add to let Acrobat access your Dropbox account. This adds Dropbox as a permanent location in the Location Chooser. Simply tap Dropbox to access and work with all your Dropbox files right in Acrobat. Acrobat supports also supports adding multiple Dropbox accounts.

Enhanced Navigation

To help you get more done with less work, most modes now provide a Back button. Tap in the Viewer to return to My Documents. In editing modes such as Commenting, Organize, Edit, etc., tap to return to the Viewer. Note that "Home" has been renamed to "My Documents".

Fill & Sign support for Forms

You can now use Fill & Sign on any open form. Tapping Fill & Sign when no document is open invokes the full Fill & Sign application.

Clear Recent list

It's now possible to clear your Recent list. Simply tap to remove all recently viewed items from the list.

Enhanced DC product family integration

To simplify workflows, the Acrobat Document Cloud product family now shares a common user interface with similar icons, product naming, and improved services integration across the desktop, mobile devices, and the cloud. Easy and flexible subscription programs enable users to select only the features they need to get the job done.

Streamlined menus

The updated user interface not only provides a consistent look and feel across devices, but new menus designed to help you get more done in lessr steps. A new Tool Switcher gets you to needed features fast. Tool submenus give you exactly the right options to get the job done.

Edit text

iPad users have access to the new Edit Text feature and can use some of the same features found in the desktop version of Acrobat, including adding and removing existing text, moving and deleting paragraphs, and undoing actions. Simply open a PDF and tap to make changes.

Organize pages

Open a PDF and tap to easily reorder pages, delete and rotate pages, and undo-redo changes.

Mobile Link

Mobile Link enables access to recently opened files from work, home, or on the go. Since Mobile Link synchronizes your recent files list automatically, you can easily open needed PDFs on any mobile device, computer or on the web without needing to email or copy files. Advanced options also help you to control cellular data usage.

Fast and simple file browsing

A new My Documents view enables quick access to files listed under Recent, Document Cloud, Creative Cloud, and Outbox. A drop-down list speeds file selection.

Support for enterprise IDs

In addition to Adobe ID support, Acrobat DC products now support enterprise IDs and federated IDs. This feature allows enterprise more flexible sign-in options, enhanced integration with existing infrastructure, and better user management.

Improved Create PDF UI

There are now multiple ways to easily create a PDF. Invoke the Create PDF workflow from the Home or the Tool Switcher.

There are now multiple ways to easily export a PDF. Invoke the Export PDF workflow from the Home or the Tool Switcher.

Creative Cloud access

Home offers quick access to document locations via a drop-down list. Simply choose the new Creative Cloud item to browse, open, and work with files stored in the Creative Cloud.
