A fully developed game or application usually uses several external ActionScript files to define its functionality. This collection of files is called a package. ActionScript 3 provides a syntax for developing organized code frameworks that can be used (and reused) for game and application development.
This sample demonstrates the most complex functionality in the set. Note that several ActionScript files are supplied in order to generate the various game elements. Click the Start button and press the arrows keys on the keyboard to navigate the ship. Press the Spacebar to fire at the amoebae.
