Adobe Media Server enables live and video on demand (VOD) streaming to multiple devices using RTMP, HDS, and HLS protocols. It provides benefits like closed caption support, multi-language audio support, stream encryption, digital rights management (DRM), and peer-to-peer communications.
It is suitable for broadcasters and programmers who want to have an additional infrastructure, in addition to their current infrastructure. It is also suitable for streaming live concerts, news, social chat applications, online education and training sessions, enterprise video portal content, and so on.
The pre-built AMIs on Amazon Web Services enable you to launch Adobe Media Server in any Amazon EC2 region and get started with video streaming quickly.
