Be extraordinary together.

A complex challenge requires a multidimensional approach to drive real change. To advance our vision of Adobe For All, we’re investing strategically in four key areas to drive greater diversity and inclusion at Adobe and beyond.

Building the talent pipeline

Building the talent pipeline.

Since the future of Adobe and every other tech company depends on our ongoing ability to hire talented people with diverse perspectives, we need more women and members of underrepresented groups to pursue careers in technology. That’s why we’re building the pipeline of future technical talent by helping young people of all backgrounds learn and get excited about software coding and careers in tech. Through our founding membership in Reboot Representation Tech Coalition and partnerships with numerous nonprofit organizations and universities, we invest both money and employee volunteer time to help give underrepresented and underserved populations a pathway to careers in computing.

Attracting diverse candidates.

Diversity of thought and experience strengthens our teams and helps us create great products and services for our diverse customers around the world. In order to attract, hire, and develop candidates of all genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, we work to ensure inclusivity and fairness in our sourcing, interview and hiring processes. We partner with a number of organizations and institutions to broaden our reach, and we develop training programs to help our recruiters and hiring managers source diverse candidates and mitigate potential bias. And our Adobe Digital Academy is helping nontraditional candidates transition to careers in tech.

Enhancing the employee experience.

It’s vitally important that every Adobe employee feels valued and included. To achieve this, we’re creating an inclusive workplace through community-building, training and internal awareness-building, family-friendly benefit policies, and parity commitments. To empower everyone to bring their whole selves to work, we’ve instituted fair-pay practices that have allowed us to achieve global pay parity as of October 2018. We are extending our parity commitments with opportunity parity – examining fairness in promotions and horizontal movement across demographic groups. We’re putting Adobe For All into action with employee community-building events and tools to build a more inclusive environment.  We conduct regular employee surveys to understand our employees’ experience and help us foster diversity and inclusion. And we support employee networks and interest groups to create community and provide support.

Driving diversity across our industry.

A single company can’t foster diversity and inclusion in a silo — it takes a cross-industry effort. We’re joining forces with our customers, partners, vendors, and peers to drive broad progress. We support their efforts by working with organizations dedicated to driving industry-wide pay parity, opportunity parity, equal rights, inclusion for underrepresented groups, and better access to career opportunities. We’re investing in making our products more inclusive and accessible. And we’ve established a Supplier Diversity program to ensure that we support businesses owned by underrepresented groups.
