How to edit PDF files like Chef José Andrés.

If you spot a typo or you want to swap out an image, you can annotate the PDF or track down the original source file, edit it, and convert it back to PDF format, but that takes a lot of time. To modify text:

  1. Select the Edit PDF tool from the pane on the right or in the Tools tab.
  2. Click the text you want to change and make your edits.
  3. Use the pane on the right to adjust font, font size, and spacing.

To change an image:

  1. Click the Edit PDF tool and select Add Image from the top toolbar.
  2. Open the image, drag and drop it on the PDF, and adjust the sizing and placement.
  3. Use the tools in the right-hand pane to crop, flip, or rotate.
  4. To delete an image, simply select it and press Delete.

To modify text:

  1. Tap the vertical ellipses in the top right (or the Pencil tool in the bottom right) and tap Edit PDF.
  2. Tap the text you want to change and make your edits.
  3. Use the bottom menu to adjust formatting or add text by creating a new text box.

To change an image:

  1. Tap Edit PDF and then tap the image you want to adjust.
  2. Drag on the corners to make the image bigger or smaller.
  3. To replace the image, tap the image icon with the plus (+) sign at the bottom.
  4. Tap the document where you want to add the image. With additional tools, you can rotate or resize the image.
  5. When it looks right, tap the checkmark on the top left.

By saving time and effort updating PDF text and images, you can spend more time on more important things, like good food and good company.
