Mark Lehmann has taught science since 1988. He taught in rural Western Australia schools for four years before transferring to a school in Perth in 1993. He earned the status of Level 3 classroom teacher there and assisted in meeting school priorities. He now works at Butler College, a new suburban school outside Perth, and is implementing some exciting technology initiatives there.
Lehmann was elected president of the Science Teachers’ Association of Western Australia in 2004 after having served as interim president, vice president, and in numerous committee roles in prior years. He recently became a chief examiner and course reviewer for the Marine and Maritime Technology course.
