A great help in a messy environment...
Adobe DPS has been around for almost 5 years now, but it's still a bit clumsy and stubborn to work with. All features and workflows anticipate a very routined publisher's attitude, and it caters them very well, thank you !
But in a couple of months DPS will cease to support the long-tail of small publishers. No more CC freebies, no affordable price tag for a casual single title, no agency offerings. And the whole process of creating Folios hasn't changed a bit over the last years (although there's a lot of room for improvement).
So in this era and area, this DPS Tips app has proven itself utterly useful and up to date. A big compliment to Bob Bringhurst for having put so much extra time and effort into it. (He could just as well have left us with his official InDesign Help files.)

very complete documentation and demonstration of the DPS possibilities. The best part is that it doesn't feature the very fancy artwork of most published magazines, so it's very clear how to implement the techniques and use your own fantasy to put it to good use!
