Elvira Lodewick
GM of Marketing & Fundraising, Mission Australia
As General Manager, Fundraising and Marketing at Mission Australia, Elvira Lodewick is responsible for driving the charity’s brand awareness and fundraising income. Based in Sydney, Elvira heads up a passionate team of 35 fundraisers and marketers who raise funds and support from the Australian public, philanthropists and corporates to help end homelessness.
Prior to joining Mission Australia in 2014, Elvira held various international leadership roles in the media industry. She served as Getty Images’ Director of Marketing, Asia Pacific and Middle East from 2012, was Marketing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Adshel from 2008, and moved to Australia in 2004 when she was appointed Marketing Director, Asia Pacific and Latin America for Nielsen Online. Previously she was Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific for Reed Elsevier in Singapore and worked in marketing and media sales for The Nielsen Company in various countries in Europe.
Having won a number of awards in her career, including Mumbrella’s Media Brand of the Year, B&T’s Media Sales Team of the Year, and recently the FIA Fundraising Team of the Year, Elvira is passionate about activating her commercial experience and vision in a not for profit environment. She holds a Masters in International Business Communications from the University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and postdoctoral accreditations from the University of Montpellier and INSEAD, France.
