이번 영상에서는 Lightroom의 먼지 제거 기능을 사용하여 카메라 센서에 묻은 먼지를 자동으로 감지하고 제거하는 방법을 살펴보겠습니다.
작업 시간이 크게 절약되죠.
이 이미지에서 놀라운 기능을 사용하는 방법을 직접 살펴보겠습니다.
확대해 보면 아시겠지만 눈에 띄는 먼지 얼룩이 있습니다.
Lightroom과 Lightroom Classic에 먼지 제거 기능이 추가되기 전까지는 이런 얼룩을 제거하려면 화면 오른쪽의 아이콘을 클릭해 제거 섹션으로 이동한 다음 '얼룩 시각화' 체크 상자를 클릭하여 흑백 미리보기를 켠 다음 제거 툴을 사용하여 먼지 얼룩을 하나씩 칠하면서 제거해야 했습니다.
얼룩과 자국의 수에 따라 상당한 시간이 걸릴 수도 있는 작업이었죠.
방해 요소 제거로 먼지 얼룩 자동 제거
하지만 이제 방해 요소 제거 섹션에 '먼지'가 추가되었습니다.
AI를 사용하여 얼룩을 자동으로 식별하고 제거하는 기능이죠.
지금까지의 작업을 초기화하고, 방해 요소 제거에 포함된 AI를 사용해 얼마나 간단하게 먼지 얼룩을 제거하는지 함께 살펴보시죠.
아주 간단하게 적용 체크 상자를 클릭해서 켜기만 하면 됩니다.
그리고 몇 초만 기다리면 끝입니다.
모든 얼룩이 사라졌습니다.
물론, 남아 있는 부분이 있더라도 제거 툴을 사용해 수동으로 빠르게 지울 수 있습니다.
먼지 제거 결과 조정
AI 기반의 방해 요소 제거 기능은 실제로는 얼룩이 아닌데 이미지 일부를 얼룩으로 오인할 가능성이 있습니다.
예를 들어 멀리 나는 새가 그런 경우겠죠.
특정 제거 영역을 취소하려면 해당 부분을 선택한 다음 휴지통을 클릭하거나 Delete 키를 누르면 됩니다.
또한, 제거한 것 중에 마음에 들지 않는 부분이 있다면 해당 부분을 클릭하고 원하는 결과가 나올 때까지 새로 고침 아이콘을 반복해서 누릅니다.
먼지 제거 설정 복사
또한 방해 요소 제거 기능은 복사해서 여러 이미지에 적용할 수 있으므로 시간이 더욱 절약됩니다.
이 기술은 AI를 활용하여 각 이미지의 먼지 얼룩을 제거하기 때문입니다.
키보드에서 G 키를 눌러 격자 보기로 전환하면 먼지 얼룩을 제거하고 싶은 이미지들이 있습니다.
각 이미지를 클릭하면 먼지 얼룩이 선명하게 보입니다.
앞에서 먼지 제거 기능을 사용했던 이미지로 돌아가서 클릭해 보면 축소판 주변에 테두리가 표시되어 있고 화면 아래에 편집 설정 복사 옵션이 있습니다.
하지만 먼지 제거 기능만 복사하고 싶으므로 오른쪽의 톱니바퀴 아이콘을 클릭합니다.
여기서 어떤 설정을 복사할지 선택할 수 있습니다.
이미 선택된 항목들이 있으므로 상단의 '선택'을 클릭해 '없음'을 선택하여 아무 설정도 선택되지 않은 상태로 만듭니다.
그리고 제거 섹션으로 내려가 체크 상자를 클릭해 선택합니다.
이제 메뉴를 열고 아래에 있는 다른 옵션을 선택 해제하여 '먼지'만 선택되도록 한 다음 '복사'를 누릅니다.
여러 사진에 먼지 제거 적용
이제 다른 모든 이미지의 먼지 얼룩을 제거하기 위해 한 이미지를 클릭해서 선택하고 Shift 키를 누른 상태에서 마지막 이미지, 즉 가장 오른쪽의 이미지를 클릭합니다.
4개의 이미지 모두 축소판 주변에 테두리가 생긴 것으로 보아 4개의 이미지가 모두 선택된 걸 알 수 있죠.
그런 다음 화면 맨 아래에서 '편집 설정 붙여넣기'를 클릭하고 몇 초만 기다리면 완료됩니다.
다른 사진도 보시면 아시겠지만 먼지 얼룩이 모두 사라진 것을 확인할 수 있습니다.

Lightroom과 Lightroom Classic에 내장된 AI 먼지 제거 기술은 아주 효과적인 기능이고 다른 많은 기능처럼 작업 시간 단축에 큰 도움이 됩니다.
기존 방식으로 먼지를 제거하려면 제거 패널에서 얼룩 시각화 체크 상자를 활성화하여 먼지 얼룩이 더 잘 보이는 이미지 뷰를 확인하고, 한계값 슬라이더를 옮겨 뷰를 조절해야 했습니다. 이제는 방해 요소 제거 섹션을 열고 '먼지'를 선택한 다음 '적용' 체크 상자를 클릭하면 AI 기반의 먼지 제거 기술을 사용할 수 있습니다.
먼지 제거 결과 조정
먼지 제거 기능에서 제외된 부분이 있다면 브러시 크기를 조정하고 클릭해서 제거합니다. 이미 적용된 먼지 제거 결과 중에서 취소하고 싶은 영역이 있다면 해당 마커를 선택하고, 먼지 제거 패널의 휴지통 아이콘을 클릭하거나 Delete 키를 누르세요. 새로 고침 아이콘을 클릭하여 선택한 지점의 결과를 다시 생성할 수도 있습니다.
먼지 제거 설정 복사
사진 격자 보기(G)에서 먼지 제거를 적용한 사진을 선택하고, 편집 설정 복사 버튼 옆에 있는 톱니바퀴 아이콘을 클릭합니다. 복사 설정 창 상단의 선택 메뉴를 열고 없음을 선택합니다. 그런 다음 제거 섹션을 열고 먼지를 선택합니다. 이렇게 하면 설정이 복사될 때 먼지 제거 설정만 복사됩니다. 이제 복사를 클릭합니다.
여러 사진에 먼지 제거 적용
사진 격자 보기(G)에서 먼지 제거 설정을 적용할 첫 번째 이미지를 선택하고 Shift 키를 누른 채 마지막 사진을 클릭하여 그 사이에 있는 모든 사진을 선택합니다. 그런 다음 축소판 이미지 격자 아래에 있는 편집 설정 붙여넣기 버튼을 클릭하여 선택한 사진에 먼지 제거를 적용합니다. 그러면 Lightroom의 AI가 각 이미지에 있는 먼지 얼룩을 자동으로 제거합니다.
편집 워크플로우에서 먼지 제거 적용 시점
편집 워크플로우에서 방해 요소 제거 기능을 사용하는 최적의 시점은 이미지의 특정 영역에 마스크를 적용하기 전입니다. 마스크를 생성한 후에 먼지 제거를 적용하면 Lightroom이 앞서 적용한 AI 생성 마스크를 업데이트해야 할 수 있습니다.
