If you target profiles, the enrichment activity allows you to introduce additional data that is not stored in the database (coming from an imported file, for example).
Bulk Subscription Management
The Subscription services workflow activity now allows you to subscribe or unsubscribe a list of profiles to multiple services. In your workflow, import a file containing the profiles, and for each profile, the operation type and service. The Subscription services activity can use this information and dynamically handle all your profile subscriptions (and unsubscriptions) at once.

Fatigue Management Reporting
Reporting for Fatigue Management is a dedicated, configurable report displaying the impact fatigue rules have on deliveries across the Email, Push, SMS, and Direct Mail channels within a specified date range. With the added insight of being able to quickly see all conflicting campaigns in a single view, marketers are able to plan marketing campaigns more effectively, and prioritize communications.

Report Sharing allows you to share your reports with Adobe Campaign users as an email attachment, on an automated recurring basis.
Push Message Preview
Preview push notifications on iOS and Android devices from within the push notification content editor to see exactly what your recipients will see before testing or executing the delivery.
With the added support of content_available, when a Push notification gets delivered to a user, an app can be woken up from background mode to refresh its data without needing any user interaction (e.g. tapping of Push notification), enabling greater consistency and control over a user’s in-app experience. For example, content sent in a push notification can be added to an app’s message inbox when the push notification is received rather than waiting to load the data the next time the app is opened.
With the added support of mutable_content, Adobe Campaign users can now leverage their mobile app extensions to further modify the content or presentation of arriving push notifications sent from Adobe Campaign. For example, users can leverage mutable_content to: decrypt data that was delivered in an encrypted format, download images or other media files and add them as attachments to a notification, change the body or title text of a notification, or add a thread identifier to a notification.

Fatigue management allows you to create fatigue rules to manage over-communication with profiles and reduce unsubscribe rates. Fatigue rules are easily built, but are extremely flexible with capabilities such as counting messages across multiple channels (including transactional messages), only counting specific deliveries, or applying rules to specific profiles.
Content Creation: Import from a URL
Import from a URL enables you to quickly retrieve your creative content from a website to build emails for any delivery. Additionally, you can streamline your creative process by enabling third parties to share content directly through a URL. Imported content can be flexibly used as part of a single delivery or at the template level, ensuring brand consistency for all related campaigns whether they be workflow-based or transactional messages, and include A/B or multivariate testing.

Enabled by Federated Data Access, Hadoop Connector via Hive SQL allows Adobe Campaign users to seamlessly connect to their big data infrastructure to discover, query and segment data from Hadoop without importing the dataset or storing it within the Adobe Campaign platform.
SAP HANA connector
Break the silos and leverage all external data in Adobe Campaign in real-time through Federated Data Access connectors, now also supporting SAP HANA. Federated Data Access allows users to connect all their disparate, external databases with Adobe Campaign; query data in real-time from multiple sources without importing the dataset into Adobe Campaign.
LINE Channel: Messaging Enhancements
This enhancement to the LINE Channel will allow users to optimize cost efficiency by paying per campaign and not for each piece of content that is sent. Additionally, multi-messaging simplifies campaign creation by enabling users to create multiple deliveries in a single campaign. Marketers are also able to increase engagement by sending rich messages (not just flat images).

Encrypted Declared ID in Datasources
Send Email and SMS triggers without the need for an existing profile in Campaign by using encrypted contact information as a Declared ID. Because Encrypted Declared IDs can be decoded by Adobe Campaign Standard, Campaign can now create new marketable profiles when receiving audiences from other Experience Cloud solutions containing previously unknown contacts. Target customers and unknown prospects in real-time through both email & SMS to improve loyalty in your existing customer base and acquire new customers respectively. Make the most of your first-party cookie data once prospects authenticate and leverage those insights in Adobe Campaign.
Adobe Campaign Notifications
Receive notifications regarding important system activities directly within Adobe Campaign Standard. You will be notified, for example, on the progress of your on-going deliveries or when a workflow is in error. Real-time notifications keep relevant stakeholders informed and provide users with the ability to immediately and directly act on activity notifications from within the application. The result for teams is advanced agility, efficiency and smoother execution of campaigns.
In addition to viewing notifications directly in Adobe Campaign Standard, Adobe Campaign now also provides an email alerting system to trigger email alerts to users or external stakeholders of important system activities. Create, manage, and receive customizable alerts and dashboards to keep track of delivery successes or failures. Adobe Campaign Delivery Alerting boosts efficiency by keeping all involved Adobe Campaign users in a company automatically informed about the delivery execution status, via email and dashboard.

Break through the digital barrier and connect to the physical world with Adobe Campaign Standard’s first offline channel, Direct Mail. This feature allows you to personalize and generate the file required by direct mail providers as part of your cross-channel campaigns. Leverage Direct Mail to reengage customers or to enhance the customer experience with a compelling tactile touchpoint driving customers to your app, website, or store.
Email BCC enables brands to save unique email messages sent to individual recipients, thus allowing brands to archive those messages. By adding a BCC email address to all emails, Adobe Campaign Standard customers can keep an exact copy of each email with this feature. This is a common legal requirement for the financial services industry and is helpful in assisting customer service centers in resolving conflicts in real time.

Enhanced image editing capabilities with the Creative SDK
The Creative SDK powers a complete set of features that enable email marketers to enhance images directly in the content editor when editing emails or landing pages. Create more beautiful content and improve efficiency by resizing, cropping, optimizing colors, and adding filters, text layers, stickers, and more directly in Campaign — all while resting assured the images you update are automatically updated with your changes.
Transactional push notifications
Push messages are now a supported channel in real-time Transactional Messages and Message Center. With two newly supported API calls, marketers can target app users in real-time with event-based triggers. Personalize push messages for known customers based on their profile data, behavior, and context to increase user stickiness and loyalty. Increase acquisition by targeting new audiences and incentivizing them to log in, build their profile, or convert. The API invoker must provide push tokens so that push messages can be delivered to unknown users. You can include other contextual data as needed for personalizing the push message. With the new addition on transactional push notifications, transactional messages are supported on three channels: email, SMS, and push notifications.
Recurring push notifications
Regularly target customers directly from a workflow as part of dynamic audiences. Use recurring push notifications to simplify expected periodic updates, such as weekly reminders, to drive mobile app engagement and adoption through new, rich, push-delivered media to enhance their overall experience.
Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) connector
The Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) connector can now be used to import or export data directly to or from Adobe Campaign to seamlessly take advantage of all data stored in the cloud. It can be easily set up in a workflow activity, and configuration is done from an external account.

Adobe Campaign v7 is a new major version that brings sophisticated data management capabilities and an entirely new user interface, including a new home page, new styles, and new icons to improve visibility, navigation, and consistency within the solution. Both console and web user interfaces benefit from an overall improved user experience.
Adobe Campaign v7 also adds advanced campaign management capabilities including data connectors to large databases and CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce CRM, and Oracle On-Demand. You can also create custom connections to your broader marketing ecosystem. Add multiple offline channels into the cross-channel mix, inbound interactions for call center, and web and distributed marketing for complex organizations.

Dynamic Reporting provides a new generation of fully customizable and real-time business reports. Based on visual dynamic pivot tables and graphics, this feature lets you drag and drop variables and dimensions to analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of your marketing campaigns. Dynamic reporting also enables you to create your own business reports from scratch and save them for later use.
With the Adobe Campaign and Dreamweaver integration, you now have an integrated process for creating email campaigns with Adobe solutions. You can edit Adobe Campaign emails in Dreamweaver and have the content seamlessly synchronized between both solutions. Streamline email creation and decrease time to market while utilizing creativity and maintaining strong version management and controls in a creative-focused environment.
Manual send-time optimization
Define a custom send time for each recipient at both the delivery or workflow levels to boost your open and click rates. Caliber send time so recipients in different time zones receive the message at the best time for their location, or have every recipient receive the message at the best date and time defined by a formula to always catch them at the ideal moment.
Push notification improvements
The push notification channel has been enhanced with a new user experience and several features, including a new authoring interface, silent notifications, interactive push notifications, rich content support, and a payload size calculator. Leverage these improvements to refine your overall mobile marketing programs as rich messages lead to stronger customer engagement and increased revenue.
Workflows: Signal activity
With the ability to trigger one workflow from another using the new Signal activity, marketers can now support more complex customer journeys. This allows for streamlined workflow processes and more control and monitoring of sequences between workflows for a better understanding of each customer's journey. Several workflow activities have been updated, including End Activities, specifying which workflow to trigger after an activity has been executed, and Update Data Activities, adding an End Activity that triggers another workflow.

This channel leverages the mobile core service’s SDK.

Adobe Campaign Standard 17.1
Log export for external reporting
Export logs such as delivery and tracking logs to process and distribute them in your preferred reporting or BI tools. Leverage a simple workflow with incremental queries to automate the regular export of new logs based on different queries, including Incremental queries, where you can use the date field to retrieve new or updated data. Leverage data from Adobe Campaign in the way that best suits your organization.
Marketing capabilities for transactional messages
Send personalized transactional messages based on your customer profiles. Apply marketing typology rules such as Blacklisted address, include the unsubscription link within the messages, add the transactional messages to the global delivery reporting, and leverage transactional messages throughout the customer journey to enhance the overall customer experience.
Transactional Messaging API
The Transactional Messaging API is now available through adobe.io, making it easier to use the adobe.io platform's reporting and monitoring capabilities. Authentication is now carried out using the adobe.io token-based authentication instead of IP whitelisting, making the security process simpler. All APIs are now integrated on a single platform, making it simpler than ever to add transactional messaging capabilities to your integration if you already support the Profile and Services API.
