Studio Furious, founded by Thomas Weil and Quentin Weisbuch, is a creative duo based in Paris that conceives and produces images — their work includes photography, graphic design, stop motion animation, and sometimes even filmmaking. In this session, learn how having fun in your work is a long-term challenge, requiring you to keep trying new things, looking for new challenges, avoiding the daily routine, and seeking a playful environment despite the inevitable difficulties. A number of problems, like time and financial constraints, can overshadow the recreational and experimental aspect of the practice.

In this session, join Thomas and Quentin to hear them talk about their quest for fun in work:

  • Inspiration
  • Working methods
  • Search for a balance between the hard part (the laboratory) and the fun part (the playground)
