Best of all, Spark makes it easy to jump in without any web skills. With a few clicks, you can quickly assemble a fluid, polished and responsive web page. Start with one of the many themes. Customise with your content and colours or start from scratch. And just like that, you have a Spark presentation with photos, videos and text that you can share via social and email.

  • 1. Create a new Spark project.

    Visit http://spark.adobe.com/. Sign into your Creative Cloud account, click the plus "+" button at the top of the screen and select Page from the choices to start creating your new Spark page.

    Click Add a Title and Add a subtitle to type in a name and descriptor for your presentation.

    Click the plus "+" button at the bottom of the page and select Photo to add an image to the background of your opening screen. You'll find there are many options to add photos to your Spark page:
    • Upload photo. Upload a photo directly from your computer.
    • Find free photos. Search the web for photos that are available for commercial use. Make sure that you check the terms. For example, some photos require that you list the photographer on your page.
    • Adobe Stock. Search Adobe Stock to license royalty-free photos.
    • Creative Cloud. Use any of the photos in your Creative Cloud library or your team’s shared libraries.
    • Lightroom. Select a photo from your Lightroom Library.
    • Dropbox. Connect your Dropbox account to use your photos stored on Dropbox.
    • Google Photos. Connect your Google account to add images from your Google photo library.

     

    Now you’re ready to start adding content to your presentation.

  • 4. Add text.

    To add text to your page, click the page "+" plus button on your page and select Text. Each paragraph you add is a separate block of copy that can be styled. Type in your text and then style it using standard HTML styles such as H1 headlines, H2 sub-heads, quotes and more in the menu above your content.

  • 5. Add a photo.

    To add a photo to your presentation, just click the plus “+” button and select Photo. Upload a photo from your computer, the web, Adobe Stock, a Creative Cloud library, Lightroom, Dropbox or Google. Use the photo tools that appear after your photo is added to select how the photo should appear on the page. You have a few options on how you show your photo, whether it’s the same width as your content, wide enough to fill the screen or as wide as the browser page. You can even set it as a parallax window. Experiment to see which effect works best and use different effects throughout your presentation to keep it interesting.

  • 6. Add a button.

    Add links to outside resources in your presentation using buttons. Click the "+" button and select Button where you want the link. You select the text inside the button, the website URL and how the button should be aligned on your page. Buttons are a great way to add additional content that a viewer can access later, if you share a link to your Spark page after the presentation.

  • Add a video from YouTube, Vimeo or Spark Video.

  • 7. Embed a video.

    You can insert an embedded video right on your page by clicking the plus “+” button and selecting Video. After you insert a link copied from YouTube, Vimeo or Spark Video, Spark will add a playable video window right on your page.

  • 8. Add an eye-catching photo layout.

    To add a collection of related photos to your presentation, click the "+" button and select Photo Grid. You can then select a group of photos that will appear on your page together with a caption. Click the control buttons at the bottom of each photo to make one photo span the whole column or keep them all small to have them equally spaced in a single line.

    Your text, photos and videos instantly come to life with the fluid, elegant motion in a Spark glideshow. A glideshow includes photos and captions that move at different speeds as you scroll through your page, creating a beautiful animated feel. To add a glideshow, click the plus button and select Glideshow. Select the photos you’d like to include and then once you’ve added the glideshow, add captions to the boxes over the photos by clicking the plus button.

  • Spark to go

    Once you’ve finished your Spark presentation, you can publish it. This creates a unique URL for your presentation that you can share as a link via social or email. You can even make your presentation public, so it’s searchable on the web.
     
    Spark uses responsive web design and adapts to any device, creating a delightful read on tablets, phones or computers. Your pages automatically adapt to look great on any size screen. You can continue to edit your presentation, even after you have published it, so it’s always up to date.
     
    The Spark Page app works on your iPhone, so you can make edits to your presentation wherever you are. Projects are automatically synced across the web or the iOS apps, so you can work on your presentation whenever you’re inspired.
